A real RD now!

Hey guys!
just wanted to let you know that I'm a real dietitian now! I passed my licensing exam. Let's celebrate! We're doing another Indonesian dish tonight called Rendang beef, except it won't be beef tonight because there's an East Indian guy who doesn't eat beef so we're doing lamb, shrimp and chicken instead. It's like a curry but super yummier!!!! When I brought up having vegetables in our dinner they all said, "what??? vegetables, what for? We don't need to waste more money on food". These people don't eat vegetables?!?!

Anyways, so tonight we're celebrating me passing my exam and celebrating/mourning for the fact that two physiotherapist may have kept or lost their jobs, respectively. There's a meeting this afternoon about the future of the Children's home that i was supposed to work at but had lots of violent strikes so most likely it's going to be shut down. On a brighter note, I'll still have my job =).

So the English girl that was supposed to be working here left early cuz she just couldn't cut it in the real world! Just kidding... in case she's reading this.

I've gotten way fatter and way lazier than usual. Let's hope I don't let it all go and get as fat as.... a sumo wrestler.

Also, may I add that as of right now Julia is my favourite friend because she's posted TWICE!!! That's two more times than anyone else people!

I might be going to Swaziland in two weeks time if I can get the time off. I hope I get to travel a lot. At least I get something accomplished over here. One thing I do have is a hot TAN! Muahahaha all you people in Canada and everywhere else that's cold. SUCKA!!!

Anyways, hope I can have more patience next time to upload my pics. Seriously, it takes forever. You have no idea....

love rani

hello from beijing! i haven't really had internet access since arriving so really, i think i should at least be equal to julia's status as super good friend. plus everything is in chinese so it's gonna be hard for me to even post this comment. well i am indeed jealous of your tan because it is bloody freeeeezing here! i climbed the simatai great wall yesterday which is the hardest part of the wall apparently and it was such a workout. and i thought to myself, the only other times i've worked out even minorly is with you. as in pussycat dawlz & pole dancing. anyway while you're off getting nice and chubby (which is great cause as you know, i was "bulking up" for like 2 months prior to my trip) i'm getting all super fit. not necessarily by choice of course. soon my legs will be strong as steel. but right now my leg's hurt like a bitch and i walk like i've been riding a horse bareback for 5 days. alright well that's it from me for now. oh and by the way, i don't see any comments from YOU on MY blog!!! get on it woman!

CONGRATULATIONS Rani on passing your RD exam!! This is so exciting!!
I hope you're having a great time, have lots of crazy stories to tell and aren't getting into too much trouble. All the girls who went to Africa from my class had the most amazing time, which I am sure you are having right now!
Anyways take care woman!

Hey!! I don't want to sign up for a google account b/c it takes too much effort so whenever you see "Wei" that'll be me - Agnes!!! hehe :) Congrats on passing your test!! I'm so proud of you! I can't wait to come visit you...it's going to be so much fun and hopefully I'll get to be super tanned too! Sounds like you're having fun there so far...Oh yes, Wei and I went to Vegas last weekend and watched Zumanity! It was a super short trip but we did so much. We had the buffet at Treasure Island and the dessert was just amazing! They had a cotton candy machine AND a mini-donuts machine. I'm sure I gained 5 lbs last weekend with all the buffets (we went to the Tulalip one the very next day as well), so let's get fat together! hehe :) Alright, I'll call you soon so we can figure out what we're doing...I'm leaving in 5 weeks!!!
