just for those still overseas

Hey guys
so i'm back at home. Not really loving every moment I'm here but I'm glad I get to see everyone again. So the last two weeks of my trip was pretty fun! Agnes and I spent way too much money and bought too many things. Well, maybe thats just me. I had to send home two big boxes of stuff of souvenirs, while Agnes had nothing.

Our trip started out in Jo'burg where we visited Soweto, the township that Nelson Mandela lived in, and a flea market where Agnes had her first traditional african street cuisine. Then we flew out to Cape Town and went to a whole bunch of touristy attractions. We went to the famous V&A Waterfront (like a nicer and bigger Granville Island), Robben Island (the famous island that Nelson Mandela was imprisoned at), Table Mountain, and wineries.

Here are some pics from that trip:

Me and Agnes at W&A Waterfront, waiting for the ferry to go to Robben Island.

Nelson Mandela's cell for 18 years. Then spent another 9 years in another prisonOn our way up Table Mountain. Apparently, there was a Cape Cobra just right by our feet!!! Luckily, we did see it and didn't scare it enough to bite our asses.

Our way back home. The sun was setting. There were lots of moments on this trip where it would have been special if you were with your bf. But it was even more special cuz i was with a girlfriend =)

We saw penguins!!!! penguins in AFRICA!!!!!!!!!!!!

The place is called Boulder's Beach and the penguins used to be called Jack Ass penguins but I guess they didn't think it was appropriate so they called them Boulder penguins.

This was my dinner after coming back from looking at penguins. I thought a bird was appropriate. Well it was a baby chicken.. close to a bird.
We also went to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. Two edges of the Cape Peninsula. It was soooo beautiful. We saw the monkey on the road. Then it looked like it was up to something no good and so we rolled up our windows. Fortunate that we did cuz it tried to jump in and then went on top of the car instead! We got a tour guide to take us around cuz we just happen to be looking for a taxi and he said "why don't you just come with me and it'll be a personal tour?". So we did.

Then we went to Port Elizabeth, which is beast far away. It took 13 hour bus ride to get there and we did the Red Eye on Greyhound. It was horrible. We were thinking of bussing it throughout our trip but we both decided that was just ridiculous and rented a car for the rest of our trip. This is a pic of Agnes driving our first car. It broke down on us during our Addo Elephant Park trip. So we decided to get out of the car, surrounded by predators and check under the hood=). good thing we're still alive.

A fifth leg you say??? NO!!!! It's his dick!!!! An elephant taking a dirty shower

This monkey is called the Blue Velvet monkey. Wanna know why?? take a look at his balls!! You can call him, Blue balls monkey

We decided to go for a hike and then we found out why the path was closed... cuz the river mouth to the ocean was too high with water and are not able to cross it. We decided, "what the heck, let's just cross it!"

Our sunset cruise. It was quite romantic, especially with the guy behind us peering at us ever so often.

Anyways, i think this is quite enough for today. I have way too many pics to show you but i need to show them in spurts.. since i have nothing else to keep you updated on!
